"Andrada Bridal Set" - Made to order

Andrada is the first Trăistuța cu Zale bride :)) So, I decided to give her name to this jewelry set. 

I met Andrada 2 year ago at ArtBoutique Fair, in Sibiu. She also makes beautiful jewelry, so I was really excited to receive this special order from her.

The main piece of the set, the necklace, is inspired by ”Poppaea” with some adjustments. She wanted Swarovski crystals instead of pearls. And a special king of Swarovski crystals, transparent with this special effect, called "Aurora Borealis" , effect that gives rainbow colors to every cut made on the surface of the crystal. Really beautiful, but so hard to catch it in a photo. So, you will see above a lots of them, photos I mean, because only a few really catches the beauty of the jewelry.

The necklace.

Materials: handmade silver plates copper wire rings; 4 mm Crystal Passion - Bicon Xilion Swarovski elements, transparent with AB effect; 12 mm briolette cut Swarovski elements, transparent with AB effect; silver plated toogle clasp.

Weave: romanov

Inner diameter of rings\: 3, 5 and 10 mm

Materials: handmade silver plated copper wire; 4 mm Crystal Passion - Bicon Xilion Swarovski elements, transparent with AB effect; silver plated clasp.

Type of chain: byzantine

Materials: 4 mm Crystal Passion - Bicon Xilion Swarovski elements, transparent with AB effect; 10 mm briolette cut Swarovski elements, transparent; silver (925) stud ear wires.

" The Teckel Family" Set - Made to order

In August I received these special order form some old acquaintances. Three jewelry pieces that must have teckels as main characters. After some documentation from my part and some talks about the designs, we agreed for a necklace, a brooch and a bookmark. The necklace and brooch for some lady teckel owners and the bookmark for a gentleman with the same love for these breed of dogs. And I mean real love because the family that received these gifts have teckels with pedigree and they attend  special dog contests. An they live in Italy :D
I may say that was a pretty difficult but real fun order! And I found a real help again in my husband hands :))


I made a necklace with a teckel shaped pendant and a byzantine chain.

Materials: stainless steel wire for the frame of the pendant; copper wire for the filling; blue and peacock sand beads; handmade non tarnish copper rings; copper spring clasp.

Weave: byzantine

Inner diameter of the rings: 3 mm

Techniques: wire wrapping and chainmaille.

The brooch in very simple, with little sand beads details.

Materials: stainless steel wire for the frame; non tarnish silver plated wire; blue and transparent sand beads.

Technique: wire wrapping.

And the bookmark. I kept it very simple, so it may fit as a gift for a men.

Materials: stainless steel wire for the frame; handmade anodized aluminium rings; wood bead; hemp string.

”Black Pearl” Necklace

Salut dragi cititori și urmăritori ai blogului Trăistuța cu Zale!

Înainte de a vă prezenta bijuteria de azi, vreau să fac un anunț: de azi o ”ardem” în engleză. De ce? Pentru că am observat o intensificare a traficului internațional pe blog și m-am gândit că ar fi o decizie bună. M-am decis cam greu pentru că nu-s adepta englezismelor, mai ales pe un blog de bijuterii ca al meu care se adresează publicului autohton, dar... hai că n-o fi foc acum. Îmi mai exersez și eu engleza, și, sper să primesc un mult așteptat feedback. Pe care nu-l regăsesc de ceva timp nicăieri :D

Sper să mă urmăriți în continuare, iar pentru necunoscătorii de engleză, există întodeauna Google translate, nu :))?
